Job summary

Midwest Counseling Center in Fresno, TX is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide remote outpatient therapy in a full-time hybrid role. The position emphasizes culturally competent care and building strong therapeutic relationships with a diverse client base.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat clients via individual, family, and group modalities, collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current Texas license as LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or Psychologist.
• Knowledge of mental health disorders and culturally competent approaches.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Deliver crisis intervention during mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients and families about mental health and resources.
• Maintain confidential electronic health records (EHR) following privacy guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings and cultural competency trainings.
• Pursue ongoing professional development in clinical methods and cultural considerations.
