Job summary

Core Life Counseling Services in Plano, Texas is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote outpatient team. This full-time role provides culturally sensitive mental health care to diverse clients from many backgrounds.

You will work Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility for patient needs, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain confidential documentation, and participate in ongoing professional development and cultural competency

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LPCC, LMFT, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• Demonstrated expertise in mental health disorders with an emphasis on cultural competence.
• Experience delivering therapy with diversity considerations.
• Strong crisis intervention capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in EHR systems for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments.
• Create and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Educate clients and families about mental health resources.
• Maintain confidential clinical documentation in line with standards.
• Engage in case conferences and ongoing professional development.
• Stay updated on research and cultural nuances in mental health therapy.
