Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field (social work, counseling, or psychology).
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.
• Experience with individual and group therapy in multicultural settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments with attention to cultural background.
• Implement evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT) tailored to individual needs.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationships.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists and other professionals for coordinated care.
• Offer crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and local resources.
• Maintain accurate and confidential EHR documentation.
• Participate in case conferences and cultural competency training.
• Stay updated on current research and best practices in mental health care.
