Tender Hands Counseling Services is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor for remote outpatient work in Kansas. You’ll deliver culturally competent care to diverse clients, conduct assessments, and implement evidence-based therapies while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes crisis intervention, ethical practice, and commitment to ongoing cultural competency training to improve outcomes for LGBTQ+, immigrant, and minority communities.

Qualifikationen

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in Kansas.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Experience providing therapy to diverse populations using culturally responsive methods.
• Strong crisis intervention skills under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse clients.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and basic computer applications.
• Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
