Patient First Counseling Center is seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide remote, culturally sensitive care in a community health setting serving a diverse population in California. You will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals, families, and groups with a wide range of mental health needs.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant mental health field.
• Licensure as LPCC/LMFT/LCSW in California is required or imminent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to inform treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapies tailored to each patient's cultural background.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address diverse mental health concerns.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other clinicians to coordinate care.
• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during emergencies.
• Educate patients and families about mental health, treatments, and local resources.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in an EHR in line with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case conferences and ongoing cultural competency training.
