Job summary

Apogee Behavioral Medicine is seeking an independent contractor remote therapist to provide evidence-based psychotherapy via secure telehealth from a home office. You will collaborate with psychologists, psychiatrists and APPs while setting your own hours and caseload to fit your lifestyle.

Licensure must be active and unrestricted in the delivery state; two years outpatient experience is preferred. This role offers autonomy with administrative support and a competitive fee-for-service structure.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license in the state where services are delivered (LCSW/LCMHC/LMFT or equivalent).
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field.
• Fully licensed to practice independently (no provisional licensure).
• Minimum of two years of outpatient psychotherapy experience.
• Tech-savvy with EHR systems and HIPAA-compliant video platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy via secure telehealth platforms.
• Conduct initial clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (psychologists, psychiatrists, APPs).
• Participate in new provider orientation and clinical team meetings.
• Maintain timely documentation in the EHR.
• Practice standard of care for psychotherapy services.
• Refer patients internally for medication management and other treatments.
