Job summary

Apogee Behavioral Medicine seeks an independently contracted remote therapist to deliver evidence-based psychotherapy via secure telehealth. You will set flexible hours and caseloads while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, psychiatrists, and APPs.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain compliant documentation within an HIPAA-approved EHR, ensuring high-quality care from your private home office.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license in the state where services are delivered.
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
• Fully licensed to practice independently (no provisional or associate licensure).
• Minimum of two years of outpatient psychotherapy experience.
• Tech-savvy with EHR systems and HIPAA-compliant video platforms.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy via secure telehealth platforms.
• Conduct initial clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in new provider orientation and clinical team meetings.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EHR system.
• Practice standard of care for delivery of psychotherapy services.
• Refer patients internally for medication management or other modalities.
