Job summary

Apogee Behavioral Medicine is seeking a licensed, independently contracted remote therapist to join our clinician-led team with over 40 years of combined experience. You will provide evidence-based psychotherapy via secure telehealth, set your own hours, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team while receiving administrative support.

This remote role offers autonomy, flexible caseload and competitive fee-for-service compensation, with opportunities to grow and specialize.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license in the state(s) where services are delivered.
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
• Fully licensed to practice independently (no provisional or associate licensure).
• Minimum of two years of outpatient psychotherapy experience.
• Tech-savvy with HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy via secure telehealth platforms.
• Conduct initial clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate virtually with an interdisciplinary team including psychologists, psychiatrists, and APPs.
• Participate in new provider orientation and clinical team meetings.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EHR system.
• Practice standard of care for the delivery of psychotherapy services.
• Appropriately refer patients internally for medication management, psychotherapy, and other modalities.
