Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance / Loan Servicing Analyst to ensure compliance and accuracy across loan processes. You will perform pre-funding audits, resolve CIP concerns, and collaborate with Development, Data Science, Fraud Prevention, Legal/Compliance, and Customer Service to support lender partners.

The role emphasizes monitoring for fraud risk, conducting periodic reviews, and reporting trends to leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in loan servicing, loan processing, risk operations, QA, or customer service at a financial institution or fintech.
• Familiarity with lending/credit/banking/fintech regulations and processes.
• Strong computer skills including Google Suite and basic Mac navigation.
• Experience with ZenDesk and LoanPro preferred but not required.
• Comfortable in a dynamic environment with evolving processes, priorities, tools, and responsibilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the final line of defense by performing pre-funding quality audits to ensure compliance with lender and PatientFi policies, and monitor for fraud risk.
• Research and resolve identified CIP concerns via engagement with borrowers and service providers.
• Partner with cross-functional resources to support recurring and ad hoc needs of lender partners.
• Monitor internal ticketing systems and execute cross-functional requests involving monetary adjustments to borrower accounts.
• Research and resolve escalated concerns pertaining to lender partners or servicing vendors.
• Identify and report trends and outlier situations to leadership and drive improvements with internal and external parties.
• Generate and review scheduled portfolio reporting for lender partners.
• Perform loan boarding and sale processes, auditing steps performed by others to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct periodic reviews and audits of loan documents and borrower communications for accuracy.
• Review sampled calls to ensure compliance with PatientFi procedures and flag trends for coaching.
• Serve as a subject matter expert with Legal/Compliance to advise on borrower complaints and disputes.
