Cable One is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage lease accounting schedules in line with ASC 842. The role requires a strong general ledger background and the ability to analyze complex financial data.

You will work closely with stakeholders, support audit activities, and help ensure accurate internal and external reporting. Remote candidates in eligible states are welcome to apply.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field and 1 year general ledger experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842.
• Develop understanding of end-to-end lease accounting processes, stakeholders, systems, and controls.
• Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries for lease accounting.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
• Support internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
• Complete special projects and analyses as requested by leadership.
• Monitor accounting and reporting standards from FASB, SEC, and PCAOB and assess impacts.
