Cable One is seeking a Lease Accountant to maintain ASC 842 lease schedules and support accounting processes across the organization. The role focuses on end-to-end lease accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and control activities.

The successful candidate will contribute to internal and external reporting, assist with audits, and stay informed on evolving accounting standards relevant to corporate accounting practices. Remote work options are available for qualified candidates.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting; at least 1 year of practical general ledger experience.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842.
• Develops understanding of end-to-end lease accounting processes and controls.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
• Completes special projects and analyses for department leadership.
• Keeps current with FASB, SEC, and PCAOB standards affecting accounting practices.
