Cable One is seeking a Lease Accountant to maintain ASC 842 lease accounting schedules, reconcile balances, and support internal controls. The role collaborates with finance teams and external auditors to ensure accurate reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least one year of GL accounting experience; ASC 842 experience is highly preferred. This position may offer remote work for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience with general ledger accounting in a corporate or public accounting environment.
• Knowledge of ASC 842 lease accounting and related processes.

Responsabilités

• Maintains lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842.
• Develops understanding of end-to-end lease accounting processes and stakeholders.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
• Completes special projects and analyses as needed.
• Keeps current with FASB, SEC and PCAOB standards affecting accounting practices.
