Cable One is seeking a dedicated Lease Accountant to maintain ASC 842 lease schedules and support internal/external reporting. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least one year of GL experience, with a strong emphasis on internal controls and compliance.

The ideal candidate will work with stakeholders across the finance team, contribute to audits, and assist in central accounting processes while benefiting from a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Minimum of one year of practical general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.

Aufgaben

• Maintains lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842.
• Develops end-to-end understanding of lease accounting processes and internal controls.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
