Job summary

Cable One is seeking a Lease Accountant to maintain ASC 842 lease schedules, support end-to-end lease accounting workflows, and assist in reporting and compliance. You will collaborate with accounting teams and auditors to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting with at least one year of GL experience and ASC 842 knowledge. Remote options are available for qualified candidates in participating states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of one year of practical general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842.
• Develops detailed understanding of end-to-end lease accounting processes and controls.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
• Completes special projects and analyzes per department leadership.
