Job summary

C cable One is seeking a Lease Accountant to maintain ASC 842 lease schedules and support end-to-end lease accounting processes. The role emphasizes strong GL accounting, journal entries, and audit support within a dynamic corporate environment.

The ideal candidate has a accounting degree and at least one year of GL experience, with ASC 842 familiarity preferred. Remote work options may be available for qualified candidates across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting.
• Minimum of one year of practical general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842.
• Develops understanding of end-to-end lease accounting processes, stakeholders, and controls.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and journal entries for lease accounting.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances promptly.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
• Completes special projects and analyses as requested by leadership.
• Keeps up-to-date with FASB, SEC, and PCAOB standards affecting reporting.
