Job summary

Affirm is seeking a senior leader to guide a world-class Technical Account Management team serving our SMB merchants. You will oversee TAMs responsible for technical success after sale, collaborating with Client Success, Product, and Operations to optimize integration, scale, and adoption of Affirm’s product suite.

You will mentor a proven team, set OKRs, recruit talent, and ensure high service quality while advocating for merchants across the organization.

Qualifications

At least five years in a B2B customer-facing technical role and three years as a people manager.
Strong background in web development technologies and REST APIs with a CS degree or professional engineering experience.
Excellent relationship building and communication skills; ability to advocate for customers internally and externally.
Bonus: experience providing solutions to e-commerce or in-store retailers.

Responsibilities

Coach, mentor and develop TAMs who support SMB merchants.
Collaborate with Client Success to help merchants grow post-launch and leverage Affirm’s product suite.
Establish and track team OKRs and proactive action plans to meet goals.
Forecast TAM demand and recruit as necessary.
Evaluate new hires’ technical capabilities and guide on integration, troubleshooting and optimizations.
Advocate for merchants cross-functionally to ensure top priorities are met.
