Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager team leader to guide a group of TAMs supporting SMB merchants post-sale. You will drive technical success, guide integrations, and collaborate with client success, product, operations, and merchant care.

You will establish OKRs, forecast TAM demand, recruit as needed, and advocate for merchants across the organization. A strong background in web development and REST APIs, plus 5+ years in B2B technical roles and 3+ years in management, is

Qualifications

• At least five years in a b2b customer-facing technical role.
• Three+ years of people management experience.
• Strong background in web development technologies and REST APIs.
• Excellent relationship building with engineering customers.
• Experience with e-commerce or in-store retailers is a bonus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop TAMs to support SMB merchants.
• Collaborate with Client Success to help merchants grow post launch.
• Establish and track team OKRs and proactive plans.
• Forecast demand for TAMs and recruit as needed.
• Provide technical guidance on integrations, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Advocate for merchants across cross-functional teams.
