Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to design, implement, secure, and optimize our enterprise infrastructure across 80+ sites in North America. Remote work is supported, with leadership responsibilities for complex projects and junior staff.

You will drive cloud adoption, automation, and security enhancements, collaborating with business leaders and IT teams to align solutions with organizational goals and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field required.
• Eight+ years of progressive IT experience, including five+ years of advanced systems engineering experience.
• Advanced systems and cloud certifications preferred (e.g., Azure, VMware, AWS).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, secure, and maintain enterprise systems across campus and cloud environments.
• Lead complex infrastructure deployments, upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
• Architect and support hybrid environments (AD, Microsoft 365, Azure AD) and virtualization (VMware ESXi, Hyper‑V, VDI).
• Develop infrastructure standards, automation using PowerShell/Power Automate/PowerApps, and documentation.
