Job summary
Bowman is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to design, implement, secure, and support enterprise infrastructure across 80+ sites in North America. This remote role requires leading complex projects, driving modernization, and mentoring junior staff.
The candidate should excel in cloud technologies, virtualization, automation, and cross-functional collaboration with IT and business teams. A strong focus on security, reliability, and performance is essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in advanced systems engineering.
- Advanced systems and cloud certifications preferred (Azure, VMware, AWS).
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, secure, and maintain enterprise infrastructure across multiple sites and cloud environments.
- Lead complex infrastructure deployments, upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
- Architect and support hybrid environments including AD, M365, Azure AD, and cloud services.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure standards and automation using PowerShell and related tools.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior staff.
