Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise infrastructure across North America. The role emphasizes cloud adoption, automation, security, and ongoing modernization.

You will mentor junior staff, lead complex projects, and ensure reliability across 80+ sites. The ideal candidate brings advanced systems engineering experience, strong AD/M365/AzureAD expertise, and a track record implementing automation and security best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field required.
Eight or more (8+) years of progressive IT experience, including five (5+) years of advanced systems engineering experience.
Advanced systems and cloud certifications preferred, e.g. Azure, VMware, AWS would be advantageous.
Extensive experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Entra ID, and enterprise identity management solutions.
Experience with automation, scripting, and infrastructure‑as‑code principles.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, configure, secure, and maintain enterprise systems and cloud infrastructure.
Lead complex infrastructure deployments, upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
Architect and support hybrid environments with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and cloud services.
Develop and maintain infrastructure standards and operational procedures.
Design and implement automation solutions using PowerShell, Power Automate, and PowerApps.
