Job summary

Humana is seeking a Lead Technology Leadership Professional to transform our Site Reliability Engineering through AI-driven operations and automation. You will partner with technology leaders, engineering teams, and partners to elevate the AIOps strategy and expand automation enterprise-wide.

This hands-on leader will guide small teams, drive strategic milestones, and engage Humana leadership to evolve our SRE practices while delivering measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project, technical, or team leadership experience in application, SRE, DevOps or automation.
• Experience leading tech initiatives from planning through delivery.
• Hands-on experience with application, automation, or AIOps technologies.
• Experience with software testing practices including unit testing and mocking.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex decisions.
• Experience creating metrics, dashboards and executive updates.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management to influence leaders.
• Proven collaboration across engineering, operations, and business teams.
• Passion for automation, innovation, and customer experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs with measurable business results.

Responsibilities

• Lead products from design completion to production release.
• Direct engineering tests to verify and validate designs.
• Support evaluation and qualification of leading-edge technology components.
• Ensure production schedules and product specs are met.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and marketing teams.
• Advise executives on functional strategies and key initiatives.
• Drive automation footprint and reduce toil across the SRE org.
