Job summary

Humana is seeking a Lead Technology Leadership Professional to transform our Site Reliability Engineering through AI-powered operations and automation. You will partner with technology leaders and engineering teams to improve AIOps strategy, efficiency, and automation enterprise-wide.

The role requires hands-on leadership, managing strategic milestones, and driving measurable growth while advancing our automation footprint within SRE. Travel may be required for meetings or training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project, technical, or team leadership experience within application, SRE, DevOps, or automation environments.
• Hands-on experience with application, automation, or AIOps technologies.
• Experience with software testing practices, including unit testing and mocking frameworks.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions in complex or ambiguous situations.
• Experience creating and presenting metrics, dashboards, trend analysis, and executive-level updates.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Proven ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and business teams to drive strategic outcomes.
• Passion for innovation, automation, continuous improvement, and enhancing customer experiences.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects or programs with measurable business results.

Responsibilities

• Lead products from design completion to volume production release.
• Perform engineering tests to verify and validate product designs.
• Support evaluation and qualification of cutting-edge technology components.
• Ensure production schedules are followed and products meet specs and quality requirements.
• Interact with product engineering, quality, manufacturing and marketing to resolve customer problems.
• Advise executives on functional strategies and drive strategic milestones in AIOps.
• Lead small teams to advance automation footprint within Site Reliability Engineering.
• Be a self-driven, proactive leader focused on learning and transformation.
