Job summary

Humana is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to maintain, integrate and implement software applications across the organization. You will lead incident response, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive reliability improvements for pharmacy operations.

The role requires 8+ years in IT, SRE/DevOps, leadership experience, strong communication, and familiarity with AI tools. Remote work with some travel and a 40-hour week, compensation range $117,600 to $161,700 per year plus bonus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 8+ years in information technology, SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering.
• 2+ years of project/technical lead experience.
• Ability to lead high-severity incident and service restoration bridge calls with senior leadership.
• Strong verbal communication, remain composed under pressure, provide clear status updates, drive teams to resolution during outages.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis across a broad range of technologies in a large production environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, integrate and implement software applications across the organization.
• Coordinate testing, QA, configuration, installation and support for new software and updates.
• Establish and maintain controls over test and production systems and source code.
• Advise executives on functional strategies and drive issue resolution during outages.
• Lead incident response calls and coordinate with stakeholders to restore services promptly.
