Job summary

Humana is hiring a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to maintain and implement software applications with emphasis on stability and timely updates. You will coordinate testing, QA, configuration, and deployment while advising executives on strategic directions.

The role requires strong incident management experience, excellent communication, and the ability to lead technical teams through critical outages in a large healthcare technology environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 8+ years in information technology field, SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering.
• 2+ years of project/technical lead experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high-severity incident and service restoration bridge calls.
• Strong verbal communication; able to stay composed under pressure.
• Root cause analysis across a large multi-system production environment.
• Familiarity with AI tools for authoring and analysis.
• Experience in healthcare/pharmacy domain is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, integrates and implements software applications with focus on stability.
• Coordinates testing, QA, configuration, installation and support for updates.
• Advises executives to develop functional strategies on matters of significance.
• Leads high-severity incident bridge calls and coordinates with senior leadership.
