Job summary

Black Duck Software, Inc. seeks a motivated Lead Sales Engineer for the Enterprise/Commercial team. This remote role covers the South East area and partners with Account Executives to win new business by aligning technical strategy with sales goals.

You will lead technical sessions, demonstrate our SAST/SCA/DAST/LLM-based solutions, and craft tailored security architectures for prospective customers. You will influence decisions with executives and technical buyers, stay ahead of industry

Qualifications

8+ years of sales engineering, solutions engineering, or pre-sales in app security/DevSecOps.
Strong ability to support new business sales cycles with Account Executives.
Solid understanding of app security concepts, vulnerabilities, and testing methods.
Hands-on or working experience with SAST, SCA, or DAST technologies.
Familiarity with AI-based code development tools and workflows.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and proof-of-value engagements.
Position and articulate the value of SAST, SCA, DAST and AI-based solutions for customers.
Design tailored, high-impact application security solutions based on customer requirements.
Collaborate with Account Executives to differentiate Black Duck in competitive cycles.
Support account planning to expand pipeline and improve win rates.
