Qualifications

• 8+ years in sales engineering or pre-sales in security.
• Proven ability to support new business cycles with account executives.
• Strong understanding of application security concepts, vulnerabilities, and testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with SAST, SCA, or DAST.
• Familiarity with AI-based DevSecOps workflows and tools.
• Technical background in software security or engineering.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence technical decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions, product demos, and value engagements with prospects.
• Position and articulate the value of SAST, SCA, DAST and AI-based solutions.
• Analyze customer environments to design tailored security solutions.
• Support early-stage opportunity shaping and risk understanding.
• Create compelling technical presentations for buyers and executives.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to differentiate Black Duck in competitive cycles.
