Job summary

Oscar Health, Inc. is hiring a Lead Physician to join its Virtual Health Assessment team in a fully remote capacity. The physician will oversee APPs and deliver high-quality virtual care to members, reporting to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment.

The role requires board-certified MD or DO with residency in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med-Peds and a state-licensed practice in eligible states. Remote work with occasional travel and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• Completion of medical residency program; specialty in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Medicine-Pediatrics.
• ABMS Board Certification corresponding to completed residency program.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct high quality, safe patient care via telemedicine while working with a multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise APPs (NPs and PAs) delivering care in a virtual environment.
• Clinical escalation point for the care delivery team as needed.
• Contribute to development of clinical guidelines and care model improvements.
