Job summary

Oscar Health, Inc. is seeking a Lead Physician for the Virtual Health Assessment team. The role oversees a multidisciplinary group delivering telemedicine care and provides clinical leadership across APPs, RNs, and MAs in a remote environment.

Qualifications include MD/DO with ACGME residency (IM/FM/Medicine-Pediatrics), ABMS board certification, and 5+ years of primary care. The position offers full-time remote work across multiple states with a competitive base salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an ACGME accredited medical school.
• ABMS Board Certification corresponding to residency.
• Residency in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Medicine-Pediatrics.
• Unrestricted license to practice in GA, TX, FL or IMLCC.
• 5+ years of primary care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct high-quality care via telemedicine within a multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise APPs (NPs and PAs) delivering care virtually.
• Clinical escalation point for care delivery team as needed.
• Support development of clinical guidelines and care model improvements.
• Conduct quality assurance audits and ensure patient safety.
