Job summary

Oscar Health, Inc. is seeking a Lead Physician to join the Virtual Health Assessment team in a remote capacity. The role oversees APPs delivering care via telemedicine and collaborates with RNs and MAs within a multidisciplinary virtual environment.

Reporting to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment, you will ensure high-quality care and strategic alignment. The position requires an MD/DO, board certification, and extensive primary care experience, with supervision responsibilities and state

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an ACGME‑accredited medical school.
• Residency in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Medicine–Pediatrics completed.
• 5+ years of primary care or urgent care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality patient care via telemedicine with a multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise APPs (NPs and PAs) delivering care in a virtual environment.
• Clinical escalation point for care delivery team as needed.
• Contribute to clinical guidelines and continuous care model improvement.
