Job summary

Oscar Health, Inc. is seeking a Lead Physician to join the Virtual Health Assessment team in a remote role.

You will deliver high-quality telemedicine care and supervise APPs (NPs and PAs) within a multidisciplinary virtual environment. You will report to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment and lead clinical quality initiatives across the care delivery team while ensuring patient safety and a superior member experience.

Qualifications

• Full medical licensure in good standing in Florida and at least three of the following states: Arizona; Arkansas; California; Colorado; District of Columbia; Georgia; Illinois; Massachusetts; Michigan; Nevada; New Hampshire; New Jersey; New York; North Carolina; Ohio; Pennsylvania; Texas; Virginia.
• Completion of medical residency program in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Medicine-Pediatrics.
• MD or DO from an ACGME accredited medical school.
• ABMS Board Certification corresponding to residency.
• 5+ years of primary care or urgent care experience.
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in GA, TX, FL or IMLCC.
• Experience in supervising NP and PA.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct high-quality telemedicine care via video, phone, and messaging with a multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise APPs (NPs and PAs) delivering care in a virtual environment and support their growth.
• Clinical escalation point for the care delivery team as needed.
