Job summary

Oscar Health, Inc. is seeking a Lead Physician to join its Virtual Health Assessment team and lead a multidisciplinary group delivering care via telemedicine.

You will supervise APPs, RNs, and Medical Assistants, ensuring high-quality care for a patient panel in a remote environment. This full-time role reports to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment and requires a medical license, board certification, and 5+ years of primary care experience.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an ACGME-accredited medical school.
• ABMS Board Certification corresponding to completed residency.
• Residency in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Medicine-Pediatrics.
• Unrestricted license to practice in GA, TX, FL or IMLCC.
• 5+ years of primary care or Urgent care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct high quality, safe patient care via telemedicine with a multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise APPs (NPs and PAs) delivering care in a virtual environment.
• Clinical escalation point for the care delivery team as needed.
