Cardinal Health in the United States is seeking a Lead Pharmacy Technician to guide daily operations within the pharmacy team, ensuring accurate prescription processing and regulatory compliance.

You will mentor technicians, monitor workload, support scheduling, and act as a SME for pharmacy systems such as CarePoint and PioneerRx, with a remote, weekday schedule and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related pharmacy experience.
• Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License.
• Experience in retail/pharmacy environments.
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and training abilities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with pharmacy management systems.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary contact for pharmacy technicians.
• Onboard and develop team members.
• Monitor productivity, workflow, and quality metrics.
• Provide coaching and feedback to staff.
• Assist with staffing, PTO management, and coverage.
• Complete audits, maintain documentation, and report on performance.
• Manage secure emails, calls, and communications.
• Monitor prescription queues and ensure timely processing.
• Perform pharmacy technician duties including billing, entry, and workflows.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Escalate clinical questions to pharmacists.
• Monitor turnaround times to meet targets.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as SME for operations, systems, and workflows.
