Cardinal Health is seeking a Lead Pharmacy Technician to guide the pharmacy operations team, oversee day-to-day activities, and ensure accurate prescription processing. You will supervise technicians, monitor productivity, and coach staff to maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of related experience in pharmacy operations.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License.
• Experience in retail, specialty, mail-order, or long-term care pharmacy.
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and training abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience collaborating across teams and building relationships.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Experience as SME for pharmacy workflows or systems is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead and guide pharmacy technicians in day-to-day operations.
• Oversee onboarding, training, and development of team members.
• Monitor productivity, workflow performance, and quality metrics.
• Provide coaching and address performance concerns with leadership.
• Support staffing, PTO management, and coverage planning.
• Conduct operational audits and maintain documentation.
• Manage secure emails, phone inquiries, and internal communications.
• Oversee prescription processing queues and timely completion of orders.
• Perform pharmacy technician duties including billing, entry, and workflow tasks.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure continuity of care and resolve issues.
