Job summary
Cardinal Health is seeking a Lead Pharmacy Technician to guide the pharmacy operations team across retail and related clinical settings. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License is required.
- Experience leading pharmacy technicians is preferred.
- Experience with pharmacy systems and retail operations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for pharmacy technicians and support daily operations.
- Onboard, train, and develop pharmacy staff.
- Monitor productivity, workflow, and quality metrics to meet goals.
- Provide coaching and escalate performance concerns.
- Support scheduling, PTO management, and staffing plans.
- Complete operational audits and prepare performance reports.
- Handle secure emails and pharmacy-related communications.
- Ensure timely prescription processing and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational issues.
- Act as SME for pharmacy workflows and systems.
