Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a remote, full-time Pharmacy Operations Supervisor to lead a team of 15–20 technicians responsible for prescription data entry, order management, and patient outreach.

In this role you will supervise workflows, conduct coaching, and coordinate with IT to implement system improvements. A degree and active tech registration are preferred; knowledge of Brightree/PioneerRx/GuardianRx is valued.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Lead Pharmacy Technician or in a Pharmacy Supervisor or similar people leader role.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• Active CPH license with OH Board of Pharmacy and in-home state if outside OH.
• Knowledge of Brightree, PioneerRx, and/or GuardianRx pharmacy management system preferred but not required.
• Experience training/coaching team members in various areas of pharmacy operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 15–20 technicians handling prescription data entry, order management, and patient outreach.
• Provide day-to-day oversight of technician workflows to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of communications.
• Conduct regular 1:1s with direct reports and lead techs to set expectations and support development.
• Deliver second-tier coaching and performance management, including corrective actions.
• Collaborate with fellow supervisors to align team goals and ensure consistent execution across units.
• Support project work by tracking progress and presenting updates to leadership.
• Partner with IT and other departments to implement system improvements and SOPs.
• Facilitate onboarding and training for new technicians.
• Monitor team metrics and performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
