Job summary

First Citizens Bank seeks a Lead Software Engineer to join its Corporate Credit Card delivery team in a remote role across the United States. You will drive design and implementation of medium to large enterprise systems, mentor developers, and coordinate SCRUM teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 6+ years of software development experience.
• Banking experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience leading development teams to successful deployments and enterprise designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple SCRUM teams and provide coaching to tech leads.
• Design and develop technical solutions meeting functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Maintain and oversee IaaS/SaaS and on-prem apps across Digital, Cards, Risk, and Merchant Services.
• Coordinate troubleshooting of defects and data/configuration issues to find root causes.
• Drive departmental best practices, standards, and process improvements.
• Develop real-time and file-based integrations and optimize database processing.
• Mentor senior developers and communicate effectively with product owners and external teams.
