Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a senior data processing systems lead for a remote role eligible in New Jersey. You will oversee all phases of data processing projects, from requirements definition to installation, and mentor junior staff.

The role requires extensive experience with Java, C#, Python, PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle, DB2 LUW, SQL Server, Netezza, and middleware such as WebLogic, Tomcat, and Jetty, along with Agile lifecycle and 24/7 on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field plus six (6) years of experience in the job offered or as a Technology Consultant, or related occupation.
• Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science or a related field plus four (4) years of experience in job offered or as a Technology Consultant, or related occupation.
• Requires experience with Solaris, HP-UX, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Windows.
• Requires experience with Java, C#, Python, PL/SQL, and SQL.
• Requires experience with Oracle, DB2 LUW, SQL Server, and Netezza.
• Requires experience with Weblogic, Tomcat, and Jetty.
• Requires experience with Shell scripting, Perl, Awk, Sed, JavaScript, and VB Script.
• Requires software application development and maintenance experience.
• Requires advanced experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or similar code repository system.
• Requires advanced experience with ServiceNow or other information technology service ticketing systems.
• Requires in-depth knowledge and experience with System Life Cycle Development methodologies including Agile.
• Provide 24/7 on call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical efforts in the development, implementation, and maintenance of complex data processing systems.
• Develop test plans, software, and procedures that improve processing capabilities.
• Provide 24/7 on-call rotations and support production systems.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Science
