Job summary

Humana seeks a Lead Technology Leadership Professional to transform our Site Reliability Engineering through AI-powered operations and automation. You will partner with technology leaders, engineering teams, and partners to advance the AIOps strategy, improve efficiency, and scale automation enterprise-wide.

This hands-on leader will drive design-to-production cycles, mentor small teams, reduce toil with modern automation, and provide executive-level updates on progress and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field.
• 5+ years in project, technical, or team leadership in SRE/DevOps/automation.
• Experience leading technology initiatives from planning to delivery.
• Hands-on with application, automation, or AIOps technologies.
• Experience with software testing practices (unit testing, mocks).
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities with deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex decisions.
• Experience creating metrics, dashboards and executive updates.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to influence senior leaders.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration across engineering, operations and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead products from design completion to volume production release.
• Perform engineering tests to verify and validate designs.
• Support evaluation and qualification of leading-edge technology components.
• Ensure production schedules are followed and products meet specs.
• Interact with engineering, quality, manufacturing and marketing to resolve issues.
• Advise executives on functional strategies and key initiatives.
• Lead small teams to advance automation within SRE and execute milestones for AIOps.
• Carefully analyze variable factors to determine best course of action.
