Qualifications

• 2+ years in a medical records setting or similar environment
• Experience with FMLA and disability forms preferred
• Strong leadership capabilities
• Ability to prioritize, organize and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficient with Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Process FMLA and Short Term Disability paperwork according to guidelines
• Communicate with patients and coordinators about disability forms in a patient-centered manner
• Process medical record requests with HIPAA/HITECH compliance
• Enter data into secure processing platform post-payment within turnaround times
• Maintain professional relationships with clients
• Provide onboarding and training to new employees as required
• Produce periodic reporting as requested
• Support Forms, Release of Information and audit teams as needed
• Adhere to client/site policies and labor laws
