Job summary

SES Constructors LLC is expanding its workforce and seeks a Lead Estimator for our Civil Construction Business Line. We offer stability, growth, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The ideal candidate will prepare detailed estimates from plans, specs, and scopes, lead bid development, and collaborate with field and office teams to meet deadlines. This role supports our remote-ready environment and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, and scopes of work.
• Lead pursuit research, present logic clearly, and re-calibrate estimates with the team.
• Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with self-perform civil contractor estimating is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce heavy civil self-perform cost estimates for diverse project sizes and scopes.
• Provide quantity takeoffs and a detailed materials list to assess total costs.
• Source and analyze subcontractor/vendor quotes for best-value bids.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans; meet submission deadlines.
