Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Lead Engineer 1 - Thermal Dynamics to drive analytical modeling for systems engineering and lead thermal modeling, analysis, and test correlation. You will collaborate with PM and engineering teams to ensure architecture meets customer requirements.

You will work with experts in thermal/fluid analyses, controls, electronics, and software, contributing to design development and production readiness. Remote/onsite options in St. George, Utah are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• Deep knowledge of thermal fluid sciences and system analysis.
• Experience in modeling, verification, and validation methodologies.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-810/DO-160 testing is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage technical risks and derive specs.

Responsibilities

• Assist system engineer with system architecture and technical approach.
• Lead thermal modeling, analysis, and test correlation activities.
• Coordinate modeling across engineering groups and verify requirements.
• Develop and decompose high-level requirements to specs for suppliers.
• Review documentation from prototype to production transition.
• Provide support for troubleshooting non-performing products.
