Job summary

SES Constructors LLC is seeking a Lead Estimator to prepare detailed estimates for heavy civil projects, leveraging plans, specs, and scopes of work. You will manage quantity takeoffs, vendor quotes, and risk analysis while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.

The role is remote with EST/CST alignment and occasional travel; requires 10+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil, plus knowledge of Bid2Win or HCSS Heavy Bid.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years estimating experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience with federal projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates based on project scope and plans.
• Provide detailed quantity takeoffs and material lists for cost accuracy.
• Source subcontractors, evaluate bids, and manage risk assessments.
• Collaborate with field and office teams to meet submission deadlines.
