Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking an Application Engineering Manager for Electrification Services in the U.S.

to lead the AE organization in support of the Commercial Operations and Sales teams. This leader will drive customer-focused technical solutions through direct customer engagement, ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality Statements of Work and Job Cost Estimates, and develop a high-performing team capable of supporting the growth objectives of the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel 25% within US.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience with proposal development, SOW creation, job costing, and commercial operations processes.
• Background in field service, power systems engineering, or industrial electrical services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing Application Engineering team.
• Provide technical leadership and customer solution support across the ELSE portfolio.
• Drive proposal excellence and operational effectiveness with high-quality SOWs and JCEs, and optimize ITO processes.
• Standardize and continuously improve engineering processes and capabilities through KPI management and training programs.
