Job summary

ABB's ELSE group is seeking an Application Engineering Manager for Electrification Services to lead the U.S. AE organization in support of the Commercial Operations and Sales teams.

You will drive customer-focused technical solutions and deliver high-quality Statements of Work and Job Cost Estimates. As the primary functional leader for Application Engineering, you will develop a high-performing team, standardize processes, and collaborate with Proposal Management, Operations, and other ABB

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required and 12+ years relevant work experience. Candidates with Electrical Engineering degree will be preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time within US
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in application engineering or field engineering in power delivery products and systems including a minimum of 5 years of experience working with customers in oil & gas, metals, mining, paper, power generation, data center, commercial buildings or similar business segments.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed technical teams strongly preferred.
• Experience with proposal development, statement of work creation, job costing, and commercial operations processes.
• Background in field service, power systems engineering, or industrial electrical services.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
