Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is a full-service litigation and business law firm seeking a Lateral Recruiting Specialist to coordinate and execute lateral attorney recruiting remotely across the firm. The role sources, attracts, and hires experienced attorneys while supporting law students as needed.

Qualified candidates will have a 4-year degree (JD preferred) and 3+ years in a professional services setting, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 4‑year degree required, preferably in a related field; Juris Doctor preferred or commensurate experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a professional services firm; law firm recruiting, training, development, or marketing preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong initiative and self-motivation.
• High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute the recruiting and hiring processes for lateral attorneys.
• Draft and maintain job postings; post on LinkedIn Recruiter and job boards.
• Screen resumes and coordinate candidate interviews; maintain candidate records and status updates.
• Partner with firm leadership to determine offer terms and ensure due diligence.
• Develop materials with Marketing & Communications to support lateral recruiting efforts.
• Support onboarding and integration teams for smooth transitions.
