Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Lateral Recruiting Specialist to coordinate and execute the full lifecycle of lateral attorney recruiting. This role supports recruitment from sourcing to offer, including collaboration with leadership and DEI initiatives, and may involve coordination with law students.

The position is fully remote, requiring strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills to drive diverse hiring outcomes across multiple states.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree required, JD preferred or commensurate experience.
• Experience in recruiting, training, development or marketing in a professional services firm preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication, organizational skills, and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lateral attorney recruiting strategies in coordination with leadership.
• Manage full recruiting process from intake through offer acceptance.
• Draft and maintain job postings for associate, attorney, and senior counsel roles.
• Post/open positions on LinkedIn Recruiter and third-party boards.
• Review resumes, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews with internal stakeholders.
• Enter candidate information in recruiting databases and maintain records.
• Serve as primary contact for candidates and external recruiters throughout the process.
• Assist with offers, due diligence, and drafting offer letters.
