Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Lateral Recruiting Specialist to coordinate the full lifecycle of recruiting for lateral attorneys, while working remotely across the United States. You will source, attract, and hire top talent, partnering with the Director of Legal Recruiting and firm leadership.

The role emphasizes collaboration with DEI initiatives, candidate due diligence, and managing relationships with external search firms.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree required; JD preferred or commensurate experience.
• 3+ years in a professional services firm; law firm recruiting, training, or marketing experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong initiative, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding candidates and firm matters.
• Ability to work after hours and travel to other offices.
• Ability to collaborate with recruiting leadership and firm administration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lateral attorney recruiting and hiring strategies.
• Manage full recruiting process from intake to offer.
• Draft and post job postings; manage LinkedIn Recruiter and third-party boards.
• Screen resumes, coordinate interviews, and maintain candidate records.
• Collaborate with leadership and DEI on diversity hiring trends.
• Prepare reports and track recruiting metrics; support budget and invoices.
• Assist with onboarding and integration of new hires.
