Job summary

Pearson is hiring remote language scorers to evaluate responses from teacher candidates in multiple languages. You will work from home, with sessions scheduled around your availability, starting at $17.50 per hour.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher and a current teaching certification in the language, or be an educator with a content-relevant degree. Native or fluent speakers with a degree may also qualify. Remote, ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Current teaching certification in the language applied for and active teaching or recent classroom experience (last 3 years).
• Native or fluent speaker with a college degree may qualify.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate responses to test prompts for enrolled teachers in designated languages.
• Internalize scoring standards and participate in consensus scoring discussions.
• Identify and discuss biases (implicit, cultural, leniency) to improve scoring fairness.
• Meet quality and productivity targets and pass a qualifying scoring test.
