Placements24 is seeking a proactive Labour Relations Specialist for a fully remote role. You will advise on disciplinary procedures, manage grievances, and handle collective bargaining with unions, ensuring compliance with labour laws from a distance.

The position emphasizes problem-solving, autonomous work, and building productive relationships while maintaining company policy and fair workplace practices. A strong HR or law background is required.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 5 years in Labour Relations or HR with a focus on industrial relations.
• In-depth knowledge of labour legislation such as the Labour Relations Act and Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
• Proven experience in dispute resolution including mediation and arbitration.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage sensitive employee relations remotely.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Law, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and resolve grievances and disciplinary issues per policy and labour legislation.
• Advise management on best practices for labour relations and compliance with Labour Relations Act.
• Facilitate and participate in collective bargaining negotiations with trade unions.
• Develop and implement HR policies related to employee conduct and engagement.
• Conduct investigations into workplace disputes and recommend actions.
• Promote a positive workplace culture through effective communication and engagement.
