Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Employee Relations and Labor Relations Specialist to join our HR team. You will advise employees, managers, and leadership on union and labor relations, support collective bargaining, and help sustain constructive labor-management relations.

You will handle investigations, policy interpretation, and training to build manager capability while ensuring compliance with labor laws and CBAs. This role can be 100% remote within the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience in employee and labor relations, including union environments.
• Ability to conduct thorough investigations with objective reporting.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and CBAs in unionized settings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for employee and labor relations issues and resolution.
• Conduct thorough investigations into complaints (harassment, discrimination, retaliation) including in union contexts.
• Manage union grievances, mediate/participate in arbitrations, and advise on contract administration.
• Document findings, maintain case files, and recommend corrective actions with HR leadership and legal counsel.
• Advise on interpretation of policies and CBAs, ensuring fair and consistent application.
